Release of New Swagelok® FV Series Vacuum Jacketed Hose

Swagelok is pleased to announce the release of new Swagelok® FV series vacuum jacketed hose, which will be available beginning March 6, 2024. FV hoses will be available in sizes 8, 12 and 16, with custom lengths available to meet specific needs.
The FV’s proprietary design provides two levels of insulating performance in a compact package, with the vacuum layer providing excellent insulation to extreme media temperatures. Additionally, the manufacturing process does not require a vacuum port, eliminating the primary source of vacuum degradation. Other features and benefits available with this new product launch include:
• Vacuum-only insulation can be augmented with multi-layer insulation to address radiant heat transfer
• Fully annealed condition eases hose routing through form-fit-and-stay capability
• 316L stainless steel wetted surfaces are suitable for liquids and gaseous media
• Wetted braze material meets AMS 4777 (nickel alloy)
• Colored polyolefin sleeves allow for color-coding process lines
All products are now ready for quote, and the updated hose catalog, MS-01-180, is available for reference.
